The thing about “Empowerment,” by which I mean the branded thing that the zeitgeist keeps trying to sell back to us at ever-increasing profit margins, is that it’s entirely without substance. This was specifically about his comments on women’s wrestling, including the quote “The deal with women’s wrestling in the U.S. is that you are supposed to say it’s good even when it’s not.”
